Margo Gray, co-owner of Horizon Engineering Services of Tulsa, has won the 2005 Indian Business of the Year award from The National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development. She also will receive the Women in the News 2004-05 honor by the Oklahoma Hospitality Club of Oklahoma City.

A member of the Osage Nation, Gray formed Horizon with partners Carl Cannizzaro and Richard Kosman. The firm provides full civil engineering, design, surveying, and construction capabilities for housing, hospital, transportation, casino, and hotel developments to tribes in Oklahoma and across the country.

Gray is the American Indian Chamber of Commerce of Oklahoma State Board of Directors president for 2005. She is a board member of the American Indian National Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Oklahoma Film & Music Advisory Board, the Tulsa Indian Arts Festival board and Cultural Center Advisory Board. She is a member of Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP), and the Inter-tribal Transportation Association.
